Bhaktivedanta College is the only higher education institution in Europe offering state-accredited programs in both Yoga Studies and Vaiṣṇava Theology, with a special focus on Bhakti Yoga and India’s cultural and spiritual heritage. The College has around 300 students and supports academic study across diverse disciplines, including philosophy, sociology, history, religious studies, yoga, Ayurveda, and astrology. It collaborates with universities in India, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, and Bhutan, as well as with international organisations such as Yoga Alliance International and the Hungarian Yoga Teachers’ Association, and holds the Erasmus Charter. Each year, Bhaktivedanta College organises an academic conference on philosophical, spiritual, and cultural themes, co-organises the Traditional Yoga Schools’ Festival and Yoga Conference, and fosters interfaith dialogue. In February 2025 the College launched selected English-language courses. Faculty and students are active in research, publishing over a dozen books in Hungarian and English, and producing the academic journal Tattva.
Bhaktivedanta College operates two departments: the Department of Applied Yoga Sciences and the Department of Theology.

Bhaktivedanta College launched its English-language courses in February 2025. International students benefit from personalised mentorship, vegetarian and vegan meal options at the campus restaurant, and a dedicated prayer room. Leisure opportunities include organised nature walks, cultural sightseeing tours, and kīrtana programs. The “Career Dharma” course is designed to help students identify their inherent qualities, talents, passions, and values, guiding them toward fulfilling career choices. In addition, personal counselling is available to all students.
