I discovered approaches to public health and clinical research that reshaped how I saw my role in healthcare, and this shift continues to inspire me every day.
From Uncertainty to Confidence
Before coming to the University of Debrecen, I had no clear idea about the diversity and complexity of the healthcare field. But through coursework, mentorship, and real-world experience, I gained both clarity and confidence. The university and faculty helped me build not just a career, but a new mindset. They treated us not just as students, but as future professionals. That sense of belonging, of being truly seen and supported, is rare, especially in a foreign country, and I will always be grateful for it.
Staying Connected Beyond Graduation
How do I plan to stay in touch with Hungary, my university, and my friends here? I believe that meaningful connections last beyond graduation. That’s why I plan to stay actively involved in research with my faculty and department. I’m currently engaged in collaborative academic work that I hope will grow into long-term projects. These research activities are not only a way to give back, but also a way to remain connected to the scientific and academic community that shaped me. Hungary has left a lasting mark on my personal and professional identity. I carry the values, knowledge, and friendships I gained here with pride. And as I step forward in my career, I know that Hungary will always be a part of that journey.”
